Jeannie Kyungjin Kim (she/her) is an artist, educator, cultural worker and researcher based in Toronto, ON. She holds a MA from Concordia University (Art Education) and a Hons BA from University of Toronto Mississauga and Sheridan College (Art and Art History). Kim's studio and research practice fluctuates between utilizing, critiquing and teaching traditional Korean methodologies with an intercultural lens using Korean watercolours, oil painting, drawing and video.
Her professional work focuses on dismantling structural barriers and creating true inclusion for all artists and community members. For more than six years, she has delivered diverse visual and digital art programs in the GTA such as the Toronto Public Library, Markham Museum, Living Arts Centre, Lakeshore Arts, and the City of Mississauga, teaching everybody from young children to seniors. |
