Jeannie Kyungjin Kim (she/her) is an artist, educator, cultural worker and researcher based in Dundas, ON. She holds a MA from Concordia University (Art Education) and a Hons BA from University of Toronto Mississauga and Sheridan College (Art and Art History). Her work focuses on dismantling structural barriers and creating true inclusion for all artists and community members as the executive secretary and NEW committee chair at Hamilton Artists Inc., and a board member and Recentering Committee member at Centre3 for social + artistic practice. For more than six years, she has delivered diverse visual and digital art programs in the GTA such as the Living Arts Centre, Lakeshore Arts, and the City of Mississauga, teaching everybody from young children to seniors. Her studio and research practice fluctuates between utilizing, critiquing and teaching traditional Korean methodologies with an intercultural lens using Asian watercolours, oil painting, drawing, and video.
